Clothespin People of Pinole by Elora

Had fun crafting with ten year old grandaughter on Thanksgiving vacation.  Here are a few of the characters that happened to be clothespins.  There's Surfer Dude,   Lady Gaga, Unknown Female (possibly Valley Girl), Bikini Girl (too much chlorine in her hair!  Aaaaaaaaah! ) Elora Herself, Rasta Man and Tidy Whitey.  Then we decorated and added bling to plastic hairbands from the Dollar Store.  This is Art for the Grandma Soul!

An Experiment With Eggs

I went crazy on this and it became a slideshow after I invented a few new techno-curse words! Is there a way to put a slideshow on a blog?  If so, my next project is a dictionary of those words...

Jane LaFazio's class Mixed Media with Paper and Cloth started Monday. This gynormous collage is the first phase of a project that will become a book. Watch this space...

Tamale is Another Day

Visited art studios in Barrio Logan. Ate rolled tacos and sketched on a street corner under an umbrella. That's the Coronado Bridge in the distance. Plan to return tomorrow.  Saw a great sculpture made out of typewriter parts! http://devicegallery.com/galleries/mayer/mayer.html
