New Class-Day 1

The new class, taught by Elaine Harvey, is about learning to combine watercolor and acrylic.  This painting isn't finished and I don't quite know where to go with it.  I'll post the changes as they happen.

 This portrait was juried into the current show at  

the San Diego Art Institute in Balboa Park.  The show runs from January 20th to February 19th.  I have resolved to enter my work in every SDAI show this year.  Wish me luck!
