New APP! Paper 53

Look what I painted with my new iPad app Paper 53.  It's nifty for sketching, painting, whatever.  The app is free but the 'Essentials Kit' is seven bucks - well worth it.  Puts the pages into sketchbook form you can flip through, email, send to FB...very merry fun!

I was going to call this The Green Flash, but my friend said it looks like there's a fetus in the sun.  Now I'm calling it The Second Coming (of the Sun, of course!)

Went sketching in OB - beautiful May day - in front of the Ocean Beach Hotel.  Kids on the grass in wetsuits were practicing their surfing moves balancing on little rolled up thingees invented for the purpose, I'm sure.  Then there was the guy with thirty hula hoops who practiced for three hours straight.  Then he did pushups against a building.  Didn't catch that in ink.
