Dremel Workshop

Just spent two days learning how to use my Dremel tool for various applications: On copper, wood, glass, mirror, tile, metal and more.  We drilled and etched and scratched and burred for fourteen hours of excessive noise and good artist fun.  You should have seen what some of the talented women created but I won't show it because, well, here's my stuff:

Copper, Wood, Glass, Mirror, Tile, Rusty Metal

We made little books to store the CD sized squares of material:

It warn't easy!!!

Finally! Another Sketch!

It's been a long time coming.  Went to Pioneer Park this morning with Jean and Frida.  We met lots of dogs.  It was lovely and cool under the trees.  For more writing of this nature see 'Dick and Jane'.

Maybe I will color it later...

For No Good Reason?

These are "failed" monotypes, or are they?  Turning them this way and that, I have no idea. But they tend to 'grow on me'.  Who cares?

Get well soon!

Lavender House

acrylic on paper 9"x12"
Ever since I discovered artist Jim Wagner's work in Taos I have wanted to paint "primitive", which to me means simple, somewhat awkward and heartfelt.  I haven't quite figured it out yet, but I'll get there.  This house is in National City in a spot where there are others of interest. I want to go back there.
