Twin apricots from my dwarf tree's second year of bearing fruit on my dwarf-friendly balcony. The tree gulps water like a parched sailor and attracts an audience of very interested birds at first fruitblush. I foil them with bird netting that requires no less artistry than decorating the Christmas Tree. I remind myself of the holiday cartoons picturing a hapless home owner impossibly tangled in strings of lights...
All this for a yield of about ten apricots. And yes, they taste delicious!
